Active hearing protectors like the Howard Leight Impact Sport work differently: Intelligent external microphones detect impact-like sounds of gun shots and shut down at harmful noise above 82 dB. But with the Impact Sport, despite the noise protection, you not only hear normally, but even better, because quiet ambient noise is amplified to a maximum of 82 dB. An indispensable feature especially for hunters, but outdoor sports shooters and workers also benefit from active hearing protection, because you can still communicate with each other.

Perfectly protected at every level
For optimal protection, the Impact Sport series uses Honeywell's unique patented Air-Flow-Control technology: a base plate chamber and a high-tech non-woven layer guarantee optimal noise attenuation across all frequencies. Depending on the area of application, the Howard Leight Impact Sport is available in three different colours. The higher the attenuation value, the larger the capsules, so we recommend a weaker hearing protector for light applications.
All versions have an AUX connection, which means you can plug your smartphone or MP3 player into the hearing protector and listen to music on the side. Perfect for boring work shifts or prolonged waiting for game!
