DIGITAL BINOCULARS WITH A RANGE OF 500 METERS
During the day, you can use the ZB-500 PVE to observe nature like you would with classic binoculars. With a fantastic visual range of up to 500 meters, you can experience nature in unique colour images in the large LCD viewfinder. Thanks to the 6x optical magnification and the 3x digital zoom, you can see even more exciting details.

DIGITAL NIGHT VISION BINOCULARS WITH IR ILLUMINATION
In the twilight and at night, the ZB-500 PVE serves as a compact, binocular night vision device. You simply switch on the infrared illumination at the push of a button and you can see your surroundings up to a distance of 200 meters. At night the display changes to a high-contrast black and white or grayscale image. The brightness of the infrared LEDs can be increased or reduced in 7 steps.

ELECTRONIC RANGEFINDER
The integrated, electronic rangefinder measures the distance to the targeted object at the push of a button and shows the result in the LCD display in either meters or yards. The measuring range is between 1 meter and reaches up to approx. 200 meters. The distance measurement also works in photo and video mode. If desired, the measurement result will be displayed on your recordings.

EXTRA LARGE VIEWFINDER
The ZB-500 PVE is equipped with a 3-inch, 16:9 HD colour screen with a resolution of 360x640 pixels. This electronic viewfinder delivers brilliant and sharp colour images in daylight and high-contrast black and white images by night. The LCD display also provides information about the current battery status, the number of saved photos or videos, results of the distance measurement and your settings for brightness and infrared illumination.

For a perfect view and an eye-friendly observation, the brightness of the screen can be adjusted in 8 levels. The large, soft rubber eyecup with a cut-out for the nose adapts perfectly around your eyes and your face and prevents unwanted incidence of light on the LCD display.

PHOTO AND VIDEO RECORDING WITH SOUND
Thanks to the sensitive 2 megapixel image sensor, you can take high-resolution photos and videos in Full HD quality. The microphone integrated at the bottom of the housing records the corresponding sound with your videos. You can choose whether a time stamp (date and time) should be displayed on your recordings or whether you would like to deactivate this function.

Note: To take pictures and videos, you need a micro SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card with a storage capacity of at least 4 GB and a maximum of 512 GB. This memory card is commercially available and not included in the scope of delivery.
 
PLAYBACK FUNCTION
You have the option of viewing or playing back the photos and videos you have taken directly on the LCD display. Recordings that are not required can be deleted immediately to free up storage space.

MORE SETTINGS
In order to optimally adapt the functions of the ZB-500 PVE to your requirements, some pre-settings can be changed in an extra menu. All settings and actions can be carried out quickly and easily using the large and clearly arranged pushbuttons.

• Auto Power Off
Select a period of time after which the night vision device should switch off automatically when there is no action. For battery-saving observations, we recommend activating this function.

• Date and time stamp
Choose whether you want the date and time to appear on your recordings.

• Lidar stamp
Select whether the distance measurement result should be displayed on your recordings.

• Format SD memory card
Deletes all files from the SD memory card and reformats the card.

RUBBERIZED HOUSING WITH TRIPOD CONNECTION
The robust ABS housing is covered with spray rubber. This rubberized coating ensures optimal grip even in difficult weather conditions and protects the device from moisture such as fog and dew.

To have both hands free while monitoring, the ZB-500 PVE can be mounted on a tripod using the integrated ¼” tripod mount (suitable tripods available from DÖRR). The use of a tripod enables blur-free observations and recordings over long periods of time.

POWERFUL LI-ION BATTERIES
The ZB-500 PVE is operated with two powerful, pre-installed Li-Ion batteries that can be recharged with the supplied USB charging cable. The two 3.7 V batteries, each with 3200 mAh, enable an operating time of approx. 10 hours during the day and up to approx. 6 hours at night with activated infrared illumination. If the batteries have reached the end of their service life, they can be replaced easily.
