rarity Asiola 42x Carl Zeiss Jena telescop / monocular with tripod, around 1930

This is a telescope / monocular Asiola 42x from the manufacturer Carl Zeiss Jena.

The models of the Asiola telescope were made in the 30s and were mainly used for the shooting range and in the field.

With the 42x magnification, which is very strong in relation to the telescope size, it was possible to observe objects about 100 meters away, as with the eye at a distance of 2 to 2.5 meters.

Small dimensions and weight allowed a take-off in the field and installation anywhere, even in very limited space.

Asiola had the advantage that it was usable for many types of observations.

At the lens end (60mm) there is a sighting device.

The telescope is used but in very good condition (see pictures).

If you look backwards in the objective you see at the border a mark (it seems like a chipping, does not affect the view), you have full service, a sharp picture and a fanstatic view

This telescope is a absolute rarity (showcase, museum piece) and a must have for each collector.
