The Discovery Field 10x50 is a water-resistant optical device designed for open-field observations. A must-have when guarding territories, during hunting or expedition as well as hiking. Based on the classic Porro-scheme, high-aperture 50mm optics gathers lots of light. The lenses are multi-coated with an anti-reflective coating. As both in daylight and at dusk, the optics provides a bright, high-contrast image.
With optics made of BK-7 optical glass, the body of the Discovery Field 10x50 is made of durable plastic and is also rubberized. The optics and mechanical elements are well protected from damage and moisture. The exterior surface is textured, which prevents the binoculars from slipping out of even wet hands. The binoculars are easy to set up – all you need is to adjust the focus on the objective lens with the handy central focusing barrel, adjust the diopters, if necessary, so you are all set. The binoculars can be mounted on a tripod for stationary observations (a standard 1/4 thread).
