Thermal imaging scopes Quantum HD38 is designed for detection and observation in day light and in the night time, even in bad weather condition like, fog, smoke, obstacles like grass or bushes).
The Quantum HD38 has a high resolution microbolometer (384x288) sensor, germanium lens F38/0.8 and frostproof OLED display (640x480).
2.1x optical magnification of the device can be increased up to 4.2x using the 2x digital zoom.
The imaging principle is based on the difference of temperatures of the objects under observation.
The image is transferred to a high-contrast OLED display with two modes: “White hot” or “Black hot”.
The main control elements (on/off, sensor calibration, image inversion, digital zoom activation) are on the top of the device.
Large sized control buttons allow a quick using, even possible with hand gloves.
Activation and operation of the device (running time set-up, choice of video output signal, brightness and contrast adjustment) can be performed with the help of the encoder wheel.
The Quantum thermal imagers has also have a video output to conduct video recording to external devices during observation.
